Can't edit controller profiles when a game is running/paused.I think the Mario Artist games work with it. To play a regular game, have to clear the selection. Unless this is how the real 64DD operated, I don't know if this is right. I have to load a standard cartridge ROM once I have told the emulator what IPL to load and what disk to load with it. It switches between the two modes when you go to the minigames. Pokémon Stadium 2 is a good example of this. I have noticed some games run true 640x480 while most run 320x240. Project64 with any graphics plug-in (angrylion preferred) seems to take a picture of the internal resolution or the resolution is adjusted on-the-fly. I set the video to original N64 resolution and not 2x and filtering is N64-style 3 point. Taking a screenshot in HLE looks like it takes a picture of the render portion of the window and not the internal resolution.LLE graphics mode (angrylion I presume) crashes when trying to take a screenshot.I have noted a few faults (crossed out means I put it on GitHub): The one you linked me to I can get behind. It was all a disjointed mess I could never get behind. I have mostly given up on Mupen64 because of these kind of releases: Though, you might want to enable "interpreter" for all games since AFAIK, m64p also does that. With Parallel RDP upscaled, you get N64 graphics as sharp as you need them to be, without seams, cuts and odd patterns on 2D elements and you even get the native N64 filters on top as well, giving a more authentic look (you can disable them if you like).Ĭompatibility wise, this also seems to be at least on par with m64p, while having more accurate, pixel perfect graphics. I have completely forgotten about it with the Parallel RDP. I remember wasting days trying to find the best option for each game. And recently, this option got broken in some games (like 1080 snowboarding for instance). Some need the option with a different sub-option. In GlideN64, a lot of games need the "native resolution for 2D elements" option enabled. One of the best things about Parallel RDP with upscaling is that it also scales all 2D elements perfectly. This combination is so good, i ditched both standalone emulators for some time now (though i still use them for testing stuff). If your system is fast enough you should be able to upscale as well. I would suggest to try the mupen RA core in Vulkan and use the Parrallel plugins in the core options. Join us at /r/EmuDev Android Emulator accuracy tests:Īre you an emulator developer?
